| Commissioned works are made to specifications for each customer. Customers hire Barbara Wasserman to paint images either from a photograph, live sitting, or a collage of different images, moods, or settings. Each custom painting is done in a specific style, color palette, and theme to coordinate with the customer's wish list. From abstract to realism, impressionism, and trompe l'oeil, any style can be painted. Barbara uses pastels, oils and acrylics and sometimes mixed media. With work sold across the globe, Barbara is sought after for her understanding of art and interior design and how to communicate with both to give each customer a truely unique art experience.
